Ready for Halloween!

The house has been decorated,

(the kids' bedroom doors)

(the black pumpkins are a craft I did with the kids this year)

the pumpkin patch has been visited,

pumpkin goop has been scooped,

jack o'lanterns have been carved,

the school's pumpkin carving contest has been entered,

and The Boy has baked cupcakes for his preschool class party!

(yellow cake, white frosting, yellow sprinkles, red fruit roll, scissors, and Mommy's help!)

We are ready for Halloween!

We're not ready yet, but Ernest is brandishing a large knife so I think a pumpkin is about to meet its doom.

Oh, and are those beautiful kids yours or did you rent them from an agency? They're cute and gorgeous!

You look like you have a lot of fun at your house! Love the pumpkins. Very impressive carving. Is there a good pumpkin carving kit you can buy around here? I have a cheapo one, but am thinking a more expensive one would be less time carving...
