college sweethearts. long-distance. young marrieds. parents of three. we've been all of this and more, but of this i'm certain: we're in this together.
Our cats are twins separated at birth! Too funny. Our cat is older now - 15+, so he's mostly sleeping. But, he survived the 2 babies, now preschoolers and never hid. Ran, but never hid.
This cat is about 11 years old. He mostly sleeps now, too. But what a cat -- he just let the kids lie on him or whatever, and now that they're older, loves to come to them for some petting.
We also had a patient cat when the kids were little. He weighed like 20 lbs. and allowed them to carry him around by his tail or any leg. He didn't care what they did as long as they were paying attention to him. He was such a sweetheart and lived to be 19. Those are special cats that can endure babies & small children.
